Leslie Woolley For Walker County District Clerk

30 Years of Public Service to Texas and Walker County 

I was born and raised in Walker County and grew-up in Cook Springs Baptist Church. My parents are Tommy and Billie Woolley. My father retired from the Texas Department of Transportation and my mother worked to raise myself and my brother, Tommy Woolley, who is the Director of Capital Projects and Transportation for the City of Conroe. I am married to Mitchell Ray, a former US Border Patrol agent and have one daughter, Elizabeth, who is a senior attending Dallas Christian College. I have one miniature dachshund, Chrissy, who makes herself a critical part of the family. We are members of Fellowship of Huntsville Church and Lifetime Members of the Walker County Republican Party. I have over 30 years of working experience in the criminal justice field including supervising the development and implementation of projects and programs. I will bring proven professional leadership, with working knowledge of the court system, to the Walker County District Clerks office. I have a good working rapport with our local judges and county officials. My extensive work experiences, administrative trainings, and leadership conferences have given me a comprehensive prospective on how to best serve my constituents and facilitate a smooth transition. I have a friendly, kind disposition along with a fair, consistent, management style. I have a lifelong history with this community and with this county, which makes me proud to offer my candidacy to serve as your District Clerk of Walker County.
